Our Approach to Current UK Health Issues

In response to the current health issues impacting the UK, we are implementing interim measures around the facilitation of our support services to our clients. The safety and well-being of our staff members and clients is of upmost importance to us. We are closely monitoring the guidelines published by the UK Government (Public Health England) and the NHS, reviewing our processes daily and adapting when needed.

At B.I.T.T. Services we understand that face-to-face support is unrivalled by any other method. However, we recognise that during this period it may not be most appropriate to facilitate our service to our clients in this way, especially for those that are more vulnerable. Therefore, remote support is being offered as an option for both staff members and clients. Where clients prefer to have face-to-face support, they are being matched with staff members that are comfortable to work in the field and feel 100% in their health. To that degree we are “Keeping Calm and Carrying On”.

At the time of booking a first support session, our co-ordinators will be asking a series of additional questions to understand the best support model for our clients during the current times. For those already paired with one of our staff members, you have the choice to switch to a remote method if you are concerned about travelling, not feeling 100% or are generally concerned. Just get in touch and we can easily facilitate the switch.

Naturally, many are concerned in this time. Our view is that you are guided by trusted resources (UK Government or NHS). Limit your time reading, watching and listening to the news and monitor your social media interactions. Keep talking to those you trust and focus on things that you enjoy and that help you relax; like listening to music, reading a book or going for a run.

If you have any questions or concerns about managing your own health, or the health of those around you, please reach out and let us know.
